EOHS Music
Music at East Otago High School is a respected and valued part of the curriculum.
Music (The Arts) is a powerful form of expression that recognises the value of and contribute to the unique bi-cultural multicultural character of New Zealand, enriching the lives of all New Zealanders.
We have a very well-resourced department and students are taught to use music software and a range of instruments from Y7. All students study Music in Years 7 and 8, then choose it as an optional subject from Year 9-13.
All students at East Otago High School have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument via the Instrumental Music programme.
